About the band

Meet the musicians of Billy G and the Kids

Bill Garvin
(Billy G)

Guitar, Vocals. He played his first professional gig at the age of ten, Bill has performed thousands of times, from the front porch of a mountain cabin to festival stages in front of huge crowds. He has toured and recorded extensively, has two solo CDs to his credit, and also performs with Garvin FM and Eric and the Dominoes, a tribute to Eric Clapton.

Jeff Lucas
(Little Luke)

Keyboards, Vocals. Jeff started playing the organ at age 5, and began playing pro in the late 60's in Tulsa, OK. As a high school senior his father offered to cosign for either a Pontiac GTO or a Hammond B3. Choosing the B3, he never looked back.. After some time touring, he was the first musical director of the Wyoming Blues and Jazz Society All-Star Band, opening for the likes of Charlie Musslewhite and Duke Robillard. He also has a CD, Little Luke and the Loose Cannon Band "Shooting the Groove".

Bob Tufford

Bass, Vocals. Bob has been playing bass since he was a teenager. He grew up in South Florida and was exposed to a rich variety of musical styles given the diverse culture of the area and has played in various Rock, R&B, Jazz and Country bands over the years. His musical influences include Duck Dunn, Chris Squire, Gary Willis, Jaco Pastorius, and Nathan East. In addition to bass, he also plays keyboards and guitar.

Joe Remele

Drums. Joe has been playing and studying music for over 35 years. He sang in school choirs and played the violin when younger - then he heard amplified rock music! In his formative years, Joe became a fan of progressive classic rock and has studied the styles of drummers such as Jeff Porcaro (Toto), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Neil Peart (Rush), Phil Ehart (Kansas) and Bill Bruford (Yes). Joe has extensive experience, having played in a variety of rock bands over the years. Joe also performs with KANSAZ - A Tribute To Kansas.

Vickie Garvin

Vocals. Having sung all her life, Vickie got her professional start as a background singer for Eric and the Dominoes. Since then, she has begun singing lead vocals in Garvin FM and this project, and has performed many, many times in supper clubs as well as doing concerts on large stages.
